On Wednesday, February 6th, 2019 at 7:00 PM EST we will be hosting experts in the field to discuss how to secure funding and write successful grants. Physician-scientist Dr. Joshua Fessel is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University, Program Officer at the NIH National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, and 2015 BEAR Cage Winner. Dr. Andrew Hollenbach is Professor of Genetics at Louisiana State University School of Medicine, and in 2018 he published the second edition of A Practical Guide to Writing a Ruth L. Kirschstein NRSA Grant. Both speakers have extensive experience with writing and reviewing grants for the NIH and other organizations.
